Sin Kwang Optical has launched the 2013 Collection of sun glasses from Police.
The Police 2013 Collection is characterised by weaving classic Police looks such as the Aviator shape with on-trend colours and moulded from new materials such as lightweight aluminium. In addition to the first key look, Police’s iconic styles and logo are also given a fresh lease of life this season, no doubt a reference to its 30th Anniversary celebration.
Police has breathed new life into the label by pairing iconic brand elements with new design features. Frames are crafted from acetate and ultra-light aluminium in trendy pop art colours, and the Police logo reinterpreted with a gothic style trim applied on metal inserts or as the iconic winged 'P'.
Police celebrates 30 years with Look Beyond
Police also celebrates its 30th anniversary with Look Beyond, an initiative that features both a celebration photo-book, which features the works of Italian photographer Giovanni Gastel and a pair of unique Special Edition sun glasses.
The Special Edition sun glasses features the aviator shape; an eye wear classic that rose to prominence in the 1980s. Police’s reinterpretation of the classic style sees the additions of exclusive leather detail inserts and the brand’s winged logo on the temples. This special edition also comes in two colours of black and brown, both featuring a gold plated finish. A collector’s item, the Police Special edition represents the ideal symbol of the brand’s 30 years’ of success, while embodying the boldness and strength of Police.
