Toyota shows off a radical concept car: Say "woah"!

Meet the Toyota FT-1 Concept, freshly introduced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) 2014. However, there are two things Toyota Motor Corporation had said clearly during the launch: (1) that this is not the replacement to the Supra, and (2) the real car will be 10 percent smaller than seen here. Oh, and in case you are wondering, 'FT' refers to 'Future Toyota'.
While no details were revealed about power source at time of unveiling, we did reported earlier that BMW and Toyota had signed an agreement to cooperate on various areas. Hence, as this is a sports car after all, we reckon it could be potentially running with BMW's twin turbo'd six-cylinder lump paired to a 7-speed DCT. A bigger surprise would be seeing this car getting the hybrid treatment, ala BMW's i8. But hey, let's just wait for more info about this FT-1 as it comes; exciting times for Toyota…
