AutoVox, regional distributor for Rotora launched their hottest range of brakes systems at the AutoVox showroom. Guests were the first in the world to be privy to Rotora's lightweight ceramic rotors.
Marketed as a boutique brand of brake systems, Rotora is set to take on the regional market and position themselves among the top brands within the next 5 years.
With a long history starting with OEM brakes manufacturing that eventually evolved to high performance aftermarket brake systems, 2010 marks the 11th year Rotora has been in the business.
Every Rotora system is rigorously researched, designed, engineered and tested according to OEM standards. Along with extensive road and track testing, including skid pan runs to assess the behaviour of each individual brake system. The result is a highly reliable kit for an encyclopedic range of cars, each with their own specific installation guide.
At the launch of the Singapore showroom held at the home ground of regional distributor AutoVox, guests were acquainted with Rotora's range of brake systems and components by the Director of Rotora, Loren Ho, along with the Managing Director of AutoVox, Brinal Chua. The pair shared candidly about the product range and plans of Rotora. Everything from titanium calipers to their freshly launched ceramic rotors were on-hand for guests to have an up close and personal touch-and-feel session.
Their ceramic rotor in particular, amazed visitors with its ultra-lightweight, measuring a 4.3kg compared to their similarly sized and already lightweight forged rotors at 7.2kg.
