An Evening Of Saab-stance

With more than 30 Burnpavement.com readers turning up at the inaugural Burnpavement LIVE event, it certainly was a great night learning more about the Swedish brand as well as its lineup of cars.

A night of all things great; cars, food, drinks and of course the people who had gathered for an evening of great fellowship were aplenty. Being Burnpavement LIVE's first ever event, 'An Evening Of Saab-stance' certainly got off to a 'flying' start which augurs well for our future events. Bringing our readers to Saab's showroom at 5 Leng Kee Road, those in attendance got to sample the Swedish manufacturer's latest, most notably the turbo charged V6 9-5 Aero as well as meet the entire Burnpavement team.

The highlight was of course the Saab cars on display in the showroom, as well as the 9-3 sports sedan, 9-3 convertible, 9-5 Vector and Aero and last but not least the Hirsch Performance tuned 9-3 sedan which had their work cut out for the day as test drive units for the Burnpavement LIVE participants.

Receiving great plaudits from those present was the drop top Saab 9-3 convertible which offered the participants a wind-in-your-hair boulevard cruising experience, save for the fact that there were no palm trees in sight and an absent of a balmy breeze. Also attracting equal attention were the 9-5 Aero and the Hirsch Performance tuned 9-3.

Apart from the test drive of Saab cars as well as a night of food and drinks, the participants of 'An Evening Of Saab-stance' also walked home with attractive lucky draw prizes sponsored by Sonax, Namco Bandai Partners and Ban Leong Technologies Ltd.
