The inventor and leading maker of Coupe-Cabriolets breathes new life into the well-loved 308 CC for a sleeker, sexier and safer ride.
Press Release
Giving its popular 308 CC model a facelift, Peugeot has enhanced the offerings of the well-loved Coupe-Cabriolet with impressive new features which make it even more enticing – sleeker styling, four full-sized seats and a spacious boot.
First released in 2009, the 308 CC has become a worthy successor of the 207 and 307 CC series. The 308 CC facelift captures the independent spirit and an unbridled celebration of the open road.
The refurbished Peugeot 308 CC sports a refined exterior, outfitted with a smaller front grille and piano black front bumper finish. Equipped with energy-saving LED Daytime Running Lights and Automatic Swivelling Xenon Headlights, the front headlights are set in black housing and the foglights of the new 308 CC have been redesigned for a sportier look.
In both its coupe and cabriolet configuration, the 308 CC offers four proper seats and a high level of comfort in its interior space. The one-piece front seats are ergonomically designed to be well-fitting and provide unparalleled comfort, while the rear seats are sculpted to be snug and cosy.
The 308 CC’s passenger compartment was designed in the purest tradition of top-end cabriolets, with careful attention lavished on every little detail; a white dial-equipped instrument panel reminiscent of the world of watchmaking, choice of three leather upholstery colours, visible seat stitching and a black lacquer finished central panel.
For those who love the open road, the new WIP Bluetooth audio system offers a myriad of features for the driver on-the-go. With Bluetooth, a USB port, radio and MP3-compatible CD player, you can now expect a completely hands-free, convenient yet safe drive as you move from place to place.
Its advanced direct injection twin-scroll turbocharged 16-valve twin camshaft engine is paired with an Aisin 6-speed Tiptronic System Porsche automatic gearbox to deliver high performance of 156hp and 240Nm of torque from 1,600 – 4,000 rpm, comparable to that of a Cat B (>1.6 L) Vehicle.
With a rigid hard top, you can be assured of safety, security and durability while enjoying the freedom of driving in a convertible. It provides more protection in rollover accidents, while security issues such as break-ins and vandalism are minimised. A hard top is more durable in tropical climates like Singapore and less prone to heat soak. Enjoy low-frills maintenance with the usual washing and waxing routine. With slimmer pillars, you’ll be able to enjoy better visibility in cabriolet configuration.
The revamped 308 CC is fitted with a compact, two-piece folding roof to provide generous boot space in both the cabriolet configuration (266 litres) and coupe configuration (465 litres).
