Bentley revealed their new home here last week and also unveiled two new models said to attract a new group of buyers

Wearnes Automotive, Bentley’s oldest retail partner in the world outside of the United Kingdom, officially unveiled the new Bentley centre located at Singapore’s premium automotive belt on Leng Kee Road, setting a significant new milestone for the 81-year-old partnership.
The new 900-square metre Bentley centre, which will be green-mark certified, features elements of dynamism and transparency, showcasing Bentley’s dedication to distinctive design and handcrafted luxury. Its double-volume complete glass façade allows natural light in, transforming the plush spatial composition inside into a jewel box, with the spotlight on the automotive art of the Bentley models. On display are the Bentley Mulsanne, Continental Flying Spur, Continental GT W12 as well as the two newly-revealed Continental GTC W12 and Continental GT V8.
Customers can expect classic hospitality and personalised service beginning from the Bentley Concierges to the private configuration room where they can customise their very own Bentley. To guarantee best service, the number of personnel on Wearnes Automotive’s prestige team has been doubled. To gain a better understanding of the technical aspects and features of their bespoke Bentley cars, customers can spend one-on-one time with a Bentley Specialist at the technical laboratory located at the end of the centre.
Two new models, the Bentley Continental GT V8 and the Bentley Continental GTC, were also officially launched. Taking cues from its GT coupe sibling launched last year, the new Continental GTC builds on the highly successful foundation of the previous cabriolet, which premiered in 2006. Bentley’s design and engineering teams have improved virtually every aspect of the iconic convertible with an uncompromising focus on quality.
This compelling dynamic package is combined with a more powerful 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine as well as a new QuickShift transmission enabling faster gear changes than ever before. Power output is raised to 567bhp, and the famed Bentley ‘wave of torque’ has been increased by a further 50Nm to now 700Nm.
The new 4.0 litre, twin turbocharged V8 Continental GT coupé and GTC convertible achieve exceptional standards for power-to-emissions in the high luxury sports car sector. This remarkable, new Bentley V8 engine delivers maximum power of 500bhp at 6,000 rpm and an extraordinary peak torque of 660Nm which is available across virtually the entire rev range from 1,700 to 5,000 rpm, providing exhilarating performance and effortless power delivery in true Bentley tradition. Combined with a new close-ratio 8-speed automatic transmission, this translates into a sub-5 second acceleration time for the 0-100km/h sprint, and a top speed of over 290km/h.
