Porsche's higher specced variants have always been dubbed with a GTS badge, which stands for Gran Turismo Sport. The Cayenne is the latest to have been adorned with this hallmark, filling the gap between the Cayenne S and the Cayenne Turbo.
Packed with a 420 bhp uprated V8 engine that is based on the Cayenne S powerplant, the Cayenne GTS SUV will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, and reach 160 km/h in 13.3 seconds! The top speed is a blistering 261 km/h - that's really fast for an SUV.
It's got a tuned chassis equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which lowers the body by 24 mm compared to the Cayenne S. As a result, the new Cayenne GTS is even closer to the road and moves with the sports car’s trademark composure and agility.
The Cayenne GTS features signature trims in high-gloss black, prominent side skirts and wider wheel arches. The launch model had glossy black wheels in a huge and delicious 21" size. A distinctive roof spoiler with twin-wing profile complete the exterior enhamncements.
The GTS features a leather interior with Alcantara as standard. Front sports seats with eight adjustment options are also featured as standard in the new Cayenne GTS.
