The Italian car-maker plans kick-off a 50,000 units per year production plan by 2015. The 2013 Maserati Quattroporte will be the first of three models to help them achieve that.
The first Quattroporte was never quite the looker that it was made out to be. With its Whale Shark-like mouth, it and less-than-sexy headlamps, it left more to be desired looks wise. The new one fixes these things though, with some of the elements characterizing the previous model purposely maintained. Parts from the GranTurismo were brought over and updated a bit, along with a the strong belt line that runs through the entire side of the car giving the new Quattroporte a look and feel that is at once muscular and elegant with frameless doors and three side windows.
The only Ferrari-powered, rear-drive Italian luxury sedan available in the market now looks sharper than before. We expect this flampoyant V8 to find more homes here in Singapore.
