BMW World Singapore Opens!

Asiaâ€™s largest showcase of BMW innovation, design and heritage will be open to the public from 9 to 14 November 2010 in Hall B of Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.

In Class B, Francis Tjia took his second series victory of the weekend and his career, with Pauian Archiland Teamâ€™s Jeffrey Lee of Chinese Taipei and Team Kangshunâ€™s Ringo Chong of Singapore following him across the line. Chong was a man on a mission, and he managed to keep up in second position behind Tjia by the end of the opening lap. But alas, Jeffrey Lee was hot on Chong's trail, and the Taipei driver got by the Singaporean and held on to second until the flag. Having wrapped up its most successful season since its debut in 2003, with record grids and the signature on-track excitement which has earned it an unrivalled reputation, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is already planning to build on its phenomenal success in 2011.

Menzel clinches 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia title in Zhuhai!

The stock 3.6-liter engine is rebuilt to displace 3.82 liters. The engine has been recreated with premium components successfully developed and proven through Ninemeisterâ€™s racing exploits. The Singer 911â€™s engine achieves its displacement with Ninemeister 103mm pistons and cylinders, the 76.4mm crankshaft of the 997 GT3, and the 132mm lightweight titanium connecting rods. The large bore, short stroke combination can spin to 8000 rpm, but offers a broad, flexible torque curve.

Although the clouds stayed away during the race, the track was still wet from rain earlier in the morning. Starting from pole, Menzel pulled away, with Oâ€™Young behind him. Starting from fifth on the grid, Baird leapt into third place at the start, passing Avila and Lee. On the third corner Lee got by Avila, setting the final order for the top five.

Ricardo Zonta had a great start as the lights went green for the Championship Race but it was Jamie Campbell-Walter who broke through the ranks to clinch second. Behind them, things went horribly wrong for a lot of cars and after the mayhem had subsided, the SRT Nissans and Triple H Maserati were the main victims of the carnage.

S is for sporty and S is also for speed, so in order for the Sportback to be worthy of Audi's S badge, the car has to offer even more in order to attract potential buyers who want that extra more in performance. And that is exactly what the S5 Sportback has - a supercharged V6 for more power, Audi's S styling for sportier aestheticism as well as a sportier chassis set up for better handling. But more on the S5's engine first. As mentioned earlier, the S5 Sportback's three litre supercharged V6 is the exact same one sourced from the S4 and rightfully so for the S5 Sportback is essentially a S4 based vehicle if automotive taxonomy is anything to go by. With force induction, the S5's V6 churns out 333bhp worth of power, which is a huge difference as compared to the base 2.0 TFSI's 211bhp and 68bhp more than the 3.2 FSI model. As for torque, the S5 Sportback dishes out a whooping 440Nm as compared to the 3.2 FSI's 330Nm, how's that for sporty and speed?

Motor sports fans to look forward to the thrilling drift action at the Dataran Merdeka.

This took the pressure off Hoshino in the pole-starting car No. 3 and enabled him to build up a more than 10-second lead by the 10th lap of the race. The close dogfight for second place between the cars behind fell to an even slower pace as the GT500 leaders caught and passed them. The resulting string of GT300 cars caught behind second place allowed No. 3 (Hoshino) to run away in the lead. On the 29th lap, Hoshino brought his car No. 3 in for the routine pit stop. Before the start, the team had been considering a no-tyre-change strategy, but with a margin of lead this big, they were able to change all four tyres and send their second-stint driver, Masataka Yanagida, back onto the track in about 30 seconds. At this point, many teams had not yet made their pit stops, but when all had finished their pit stops by lap 35, No. 3 was in the lead again with a considerable margin. By the time the GT500 class had finished the race on their 53rd lap, the GT300 class was finishing on its 49th lap. For the No. 3 TOMICA Z team (Kazuki Hoshino/Masataka Yanagida) this was their first win of the season.

Employing the revolutionary Toyota Valvematic and Dual VVT-I technology in its new engine, the New Toyota Wish 1.8L is able to execute continuous valve lift control and valve timing control. This allows the car to obtain a fuel efficiency of 14.9 km/L (6.7L/100km) and utilizes a smaller engine capacity to produce a powerful output of 144 bhp and low combined emission of 160.2 g/km. Compared to the first generation Touareg, the new Touareg has its dimensions increased in both length and width as well as a lower centre of gravity. And that's not all, for the new Touareg despite its increase in size is now a lighter machine for better power to weight ratio (208 kg lighter) due to targeted body modifications, material selection and a lighter weight power train.
