B-Class Gets A Facelift

A little nip and tuck to keep it relevant and even closer looking to its smaller A-Class sibling


It features a 5.2-litre V10 engine with 610 hp, reaches a top speed of over 325 km/h, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The power generated by the ten-cylinder is delivered to the road via the new 7-speed dual-clutch transmission “Lamborghini Doppia Frizione” (LDF) and an all-wheel drive that also features a new hydraulic multi-plate clutch. Three different driving modes, spanning from road to race track, can be selected using a drive select switch in the steering wheel. The system is called ANIMA –  Adaptive  Network  Intelligent Management - and impacts the engine, transmission, all-wheel drive and the ESC handling system as well as other dynamic systems.

Like the previous model the full-sized MPV will come in two variants - the EX and the EXV. The EX is the 'base' model, although it already comes with quite a list of features and seats the most number of people (eight vs. seven in the EXV). Available as standard on both models are Honda's new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HondaLink navigation and of course, the 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine with Earth Dreams technology. The unit pumps out a healthy 172bhp and 225Nm and will return a fuel consumption figure of 12.7km/L.

BMW's Advanced Diesel engines feature TwinPower Turbo technology, capable of generating high levels of torque for performance-minded drivers. The fifth generation 911 GT3, a completely new development, has a power-to-weight ratio of 3.0 kg/hp and the ability to achieve a top speed of 315 km/h. As a technical highlight, it features the first active rear-wheel steering in a production Porsche, as well as optional full-LED headlights. The powertrain consists of a 3.8-liter boxer engine yielding 475 bhp at 8,250 rpm, a Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and a high-traction rear-wheel drive.
