With the show being on hiatus since 2008, Wei Jie from E3lipse Photography attended this year's edition to find out what it's like.


The revised platform is more rigid compared to the current model thanks to an increased number of spot welds and adding laser welds in very specific locations. The track, wider by 40mm at the front and 50mm at the rear, works in combination with a revised suspension design to give a more assured stance and superior cornering performance.

To be really honest, the Passat's looks are its downfall. I might be giving it away too early in this story, but the Passat is truly a great car to drive and own, I just wished it looked just as good. It is by no means ugly, but at the same time, it lacks a strong personality. It just looks bland - which I guess will work for those who don't want too much attention.

First, we look at the 508's hungry pride mates with gaping grilles - that design highlight that seem so synonymous with Peugeot is gone.
