BMW Launches 6 Series Coupé

The BMW 6 Series is now available in Coupé guise. The lighter and more rigid variant promises to be a sharper drive than its already fantastic Convertible sibling.


Although it has already been more than a year, the TTRS isn’t exactly a hit among keen drivers here. You don’t know what to blame it on – that it initially came in only a 6-speed manual transmission? The boot size a joke? It looks similar to the entry-level TT? The price? All of the above? Sure, the clutch needs some getting used to and the gear changes isn’t as special as the 1 M’s, but look beyond that and you get a piece of Audi heritage in this car. A 5-cylinder 2.5-liter turbocharged heart, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gives you 340bhp at 5,400rpm, and – like the 1 M – 450Nm from 1,600rpm.

The R8 Spyder V8 Spins Its Web In Singapore

Audi has added another model to its R8 lineup in Singapore.


Exterior wise, the new Megane CC (I shall call it MCC from now on) looks less angular than its predecessor – it seems Renault’s designers decided to make it curvier (and more feminine too) this time around, probably to match Peugeot’s 308CC. The face has more prominence now thanks largely to the new swept back headlamps and detailed bumper (is it smiling at me?). Then, the rear looks simply beautiful, mainly due to the darkened tail lamps and the fact that its overhang is not that long to make it look, err, tilted like a duck’s rear? Oh, and those alloys are simply beautiful on the MCC – think of it as wearing the right shoe to match the dress. Ahh… you French are so fashionable.
