Singapore - First In Southeast Asia To Preview BMW Concept M5

Back in April, we released news about the new M5 making an appearance here. Last night, Munich Automobiles, the first M Showroom in the world, previewed the awesome BMW Concept M5 Ã¼ber saloon.

In third place, Martin Tomczyk became the best-placed driver of a 2008-spec car and thrilled the spectators with spirited attacks and overtaking manoeuvres. His efforts were rewarded. In the pointsâ€™ standings, he is currently third behind Rockenfeller. British driver Jamie Green lost his second place at the start and was also overtaken by Tomczyk during the race. The Mercedes-Benz driver finished fourth ahead of two timesâ€™ DTM champion Timo Scheider (Audi). Audi driver Edoardo Mortara from Italy already scored his first-ever championship points by finishing sixth in his second race. He was followed by Maro Engel (Mercedes-Benz) and Mattias EkstrÃ¶m with the Audi A4 DTM. The Swede started 16th and still scored one point by finishing eighth.

In his 44th DTM race, Mike Rockenfeller scored his long overdue maiden victory in his 44th DTM race.

It was a wet morning as we all made our way to the rendezvous point in the eastern part of our little island. Great, now how on earth are we going to enjoy driving with the roof down in such crappy weather? Well, letâ€™s just say the dude above wanted us to have a blast, so lo and behold, the weather stopped almost instantly by the time we arrived. Well, you should know what wet roads lead to â€“ over steering antics, that sort. In the case of the 370Z and the Boxster S, it wasn't hard. Switch off the traction control, floor the pedal at the right time, steer with confidence and tadaaâ€¦ â€œdorift-oâ€, as what Krado would say. Not so easy with the four-wheel driven TTS though â€“ but a little pull of the handbrake with no traction control will see it go sideways, although not as spectacular as the other two.
