The results are out! After two months of showing-off our eight cars meet at the Suzuki Singapore showroom and face-off!


As an alternative to the standard bi-xenon light, the new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M are the first vehicles in their respective segments to be fitted standard with adaptive LED headlamps. Their bright white light ensures optimum visibility, while their high-quality appearance represents a new interpretation of the brand's hallmark twin circular headlamps. The three dimensionally shaped luminous rings of the adaptive LED headlamps are strikingly levelled off both at the top and bottom and are overlaid at the upper edge by an LED-fed accent light. The light sources for low and high beam light are LED units positioned on a horizontal bar at its centre, feeding their light into the reflectors in front.

Although it has already been more than a year, the TTRS isn’t exactly a hit among keen drivers here. You don’t know what to blame it on – that it initially came in only a 6-speed manual transmission? The boot size a joke? It looks similar to the entry-level TT? The price? All of the above? Amongst racing customers all over the world, the Porsche 911 GT3 R is extremely popular for its forgiving handling and basic speed. And it is exactly in this direction that the improvements for the 2012 model year have been targeted. The engine output has increased by 20 hp to now deliver 500 hp. Paddle-shifts on the steering wheel ensure gear changes are even quicker and simpler, making it easier for pilots to concentrate on braking. Moreover, the transmission electronics, featuring an automatic throttle blip control, make it almost impossible to miss a gear and over-rev the engine. A softer anti-roll bar on the front axle reduces understeer.

Into the race, the leading Weider HSC-010 and S Road Mola GTR opened up a big gap between the rest of the pack, with a gap that varied from lap to lap. The action however, was behind the leaders as two HSV-010's (Keihin #17 and Arta #8) battled for the final podium position.
