Audi is once again opening up new horizons: the Audi urban concept, a 1+1-seat, ultra-light car for congested urban spaces. The technical study being presented at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt does not fit under any of the conventional categories – the Audi urban concept combines elements of a racing car, a fun car and an urban car into one radical new concept. In addition to a Sportback model, Audi is also presenting a Spyder variant.

The Chevrolet Miray: Propelled by two front-mounted, battery-powered 15-kW electric motors for quick acceleration and zero emissions in urban driving, it is a fresh look at what a sports cars of the future might be. It's made from carbon-fibre-reinforced plastics (CFRP) and carbon fibre and features a 1.5 litre turbo-charged four-banger at the back. If only every hybrid looks this good!

To be really honest, the Passat's looks are its downfall. I might be giving it away too early in this story, but the Passat is truly a great car to drive and own, I just wished it looked just as good. It is by no means ugly, but at the same time, it lacks a strong personality. It just looks bland - which I guess will work for those who don't want too much attention.
