Although uncertain and “hard to predict”, Mr Muller-Otvos reckons that China will overtake North America as their main consumer, by as early as the end of 2012. He also stated that the latest Ghost model would help drive that new growth.

The first Saab 9-4X crossover to be commercially produced has now rolled off the assembly line at the Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico.


The new chassis only weighs just 75kg, yet, McLaren claims that it provides the perfect combination of occupant space, structural integrity, light weight, and relatively low construction costs. In retrospect, the manually-produced McLaren F1 took up to 3,000 hours to complete, the SLR reduced that manufacturing time to about 300 hours, while the MP4-12C's chassis can be produced in four hours. McLaren says that the new process is part of making carbon a reality to car enthusiasts, at a price point more affordable to a wider market.

The JK Racing Asia Series is for the most talented drivers rather than just the most financially healthy to succeed. It is for this reason that both the car and the training programme have been devised so that little if any advantage can be obtained by extra investment. Viewers in over 100 countries will receive great TV coverage of the JK Racing Asia Series where 185 programmes with 10,850 minutes of coverage are broadcast to a total potential viewership of over 612 million.
