Clients visit the SPD Ability Centre in Tiong Bahru and SPD@Tampines for a variety of services, including rehabilitation, day care, as well as IT and vocational training. Public transportation can be a challenge for some SPD clients and they rely on seven SPD-owned vans that are wheelchair-enabled and specially adapted to meet their needs, supplemented by 11 vans run by an outsourced transport provider. Many clients are from low-income families and are unable to afford charges for this transport service.

Despite public demonstrations and transport strikes that threatened to derail the peace in France, the Paris Motor Show clocked up 1,263,467 in visits.


Employing the revolutionary Toyota Valvematic and Dual VVT-I technology in its new engine, the New Toyota Wish 1.8L is able to execute continuous valve lift control and valve timing control. This allows the car to obtain a fuel efficiency of 14.9 km/L (6.7L/100km) and utilizes a smaller engine capacity to produce a powerful output of 144 bhp and low combined emission of 160.2 g/km. Its fuel efficiency is further enhanced by the seven-speed Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) Sport Sequential Shiftmatic that enables the engine to operate seamlessly with the most efficient revolutions at any speed.
