The 2011 Geneva Motor Show sees Koenigsegg presenting the brand new Koenigsegg Agera R, a supercar inspired by the legendary Speed Racer theme.


The low, highly aerodynamic bodyshell is stretched tight over the engineering hard points, with the muscular bodywork rendered as compact as possible. The concept measures 4,235mm long, 1,795mm wide and 1,270mm high, with a long, 2,570mm wheelbase.

The new Toyota FT-86 II Concept makes its world debut at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, giving the clearest indication yet as to the final design of Toyota's next sports car.


Inside, it features a large multifunction display which sits in the center panel that shows navigation, car audio and vehicle information. Touch panels have been used on the D-shaped steering wheel as well as elsewhere, negating the need for buttons. You might notice that there are no side mirrors, that's due to the “EyeSight” system that relays video to a monitor on the dash, fed from its stereo cameras mounted high up on the door line.

It is the new big ABT. “With the new A1, premium quality can now be experienced in all classes”, says Hans-Jürgen Abt.


The new bull features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis that only weighs 1,575kg, yet it provides extreme torsional stiffness. Combined with the new twelve-cylinder 6.5 litre V12 engine, producing 700 hp and 690Nm of torque, the super car dashes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and maxes out at 350 km/h.

For this year's race entertainment line-up, American rock band Linkin Park will be belting out the tunes on race day, 25 September 2011 at the Padang main stage. Mr. Michael Roche, Executive Director, Singapore GP Pte Ltd, said, “Our announcement of Linkin Park is just the start of another stellar line-up of artistes for 2011.” Tickets will be available for sale online via the Singapore GP website, ticketing hotline as well as appointed travel agents.

The Formula JK Tyre Pacific car is made of carbon-fibre Kevlar, which has been proven to be of the highest safety standards. The 140bhp, 1.2litre BMW engine provides a maximum engine speed of 9,250rpm with a top speed of 230km/h. The race car will run on JK tyres. The series is in sync with JK Tyre’s philosophy of identifying and developing young racing talents to become future world champions. The JK Racing Asia Series is for the most talented drivers rather than just the most financially healthy to succeed. It is for this reason that both the car and the training programme have been devised so that little if any advantage can be obtained by extra investment. Viewers in over 100 countries will receive great TV coverage of the JK Racing Asia Series where 185 programmes with 10,850 minutes of coverage are broadcast to a total potential viewership of over 612 million.
