The Volkswagen Jetta Sport 1.4 TSI proved its impressive efficiency in the real world last weekend, with a record 20.8 km/L achieved at the Shell FuelSave Challenge 2013.


He is joined by fellow Shell FuelSave Team members Daniel Lim, a 35-year-old curriculum planner, Arthur Foo, a 29-year-old project manager at the Nanyang Technological University, and Diana Lim, a 30-year-old mother and manager at Far East Organization.

Johorian winner clocks in 29.45 kilometres on one litre of Shell FuelSave 95.


Based on the findings of the report and the search for Asia’s Smartest FuelSaver, Shell has extended its effort to help drivers save 10% or more fuel. Now the focus is how to mobilise the 42% of the world’s drivers who are not currently saving. The Report suggests that fuel saving behaviours stick best when advice is shared by ‘Expert FuelSavers’ so Shell is establishing a global panel of Expert FuelSavers, starting with John and Helen Taylor, the Shell FuelSave Ambassadors and the finalists of Europe and Asia’s ‘Smartest FuelSavers’.

A Thai actress and business owner has been crowned Asia’s Smartest FuelSaver at the first Shell Eco-marathon in Asia.


Each fuel purchase receipt entitles customers to only one chance and one prize. Customers are required to check their receipt at the point of purchase and present the original receipt immediately to the cashier, who will then issue them the Prize Collection letter. Shell estimates at least 100 winners per month in this promotion. The 13-week promotion is part of Shell's ongoing drive to help motorists
