This boost in performance also drives the power-to-weight ratio of the Cayman GTS below the four kg per hp barrier; the Boxster GTS is also close to this barrier.

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit, Bathurst, to give it its full name, is the home of motorsport in Australia. Located in New South Wales, it has a rich motorsport history - the first race held there was the 1938 Australian Grand Prix and it now hosts the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000 races amongst others. The challenging circuit is 6.213 km long with surprisingly steep inclines, a twisty, narrow section across the top of the mountain which proves difficult to master even for the very best racing drivers, and very little run off area to allow for mistakes.

First introduced as a concept back in 2009 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the 3 Series GT was created to appeal to customers looking for a smaller, sportier version of the 5 Series GT. Both the 3 Series GT and the 5 Series GT belong to the first generation of BMW\'s Progressive Activity Coupe (PAC) series - a marketing description of a car which combines the looks and functions of a sedan, an SUV, and a classic Gran Turismo.

Stuttgart Auto has launched the new Cayenne GTS at the Glass House in Sentosa. Packing a 420 bhp tweaked V8, the spicy GTS will sit between the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo in the brand's line-up.

This allows the car to accelerate from nought to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, all the way to a 300 km/h top speed. Let this be official - this car is FAST! Maybe it's the sound that enhances the sense of speed, but the MC Stradale accelerates angrily through every gear and every rev input given.

In summary, of course there are other grouses that we could pick on such as the sound quality right down to the performance tuning, but those aside, it is the incredibly detailed imagery of the game that keeps us addicted as well as the fact that we are just hardcore racing gamers, and we're glad that nothing has diluted the pure racing experience. There’s no denying that the beautiful GT5 has set the bar for racing sims to an all-new high and we are looking forward to more nights of racing in the comfort of our office lounge.
