One of the most famous, Carrozzeria Zagato, celebrates its 95th birthday this year, and it is this special occasion for which the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato was commissioned. Its commissioner is one Albert Spiess, a Swiss who already counts other well-known Zagato works such as the Alfa Romeo SZ and RZ, 1985 Aston V8 Vantage Zagato, and 2012 V12 Vantage Zagato within his stable. BMW And Zagato Combine Forces to Produce A One-off

Milanese coachbuilder Zagato has teamed up with BMW to unveil the BMW Zagato Coupé, a hand-crafted special that premiered at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.


Hand assembled at the company's global headquarters in Gaydon, England, the V12 Zagato is based on the highly acclaimed V12 Vantage and features a beautiful 'handcrafted‘ aluminium and carbon fibre body. Combining traditional craftsmanship and high technology, the V12 Zagato also boasts Aston Martin's most dynamic bonded aluminium platform and the power of the company's acclaimed 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 510 bhp, and 570 Nm of torque.

Road Going Aston Martin V12 Zagato To Debut At Frankfurt

Based on the acclaimed V12 Vantage and sporting a handcrafted aluminium and carbon fibre body, up to 150 examples of this new car will be produced. Orders are now being taken on a strictly first come first served basis and production is expected to commence in 2012 at Aston Martin’s global headquarters at Gaydon, Warwickshire.
