The Automobili Lamborghini Museum has officially reopened following a redesign and new layout. This reopening marks the start of Lamborghini’s 60th-anniversary celebrations, and an important year ahead for the Sant'Agata Bolognese company. The museum has changed its name and been entirely remodelled, both in its modernised layout and design and in its exhibits. The newly-created exhibition “THE FUTURE BEGAN IN 1963”, retraces the most emblematic eras and representative moments that mark the history of Lamborghini's first 60 years.

To celebrate the unique sounds of its internal combustion engines, which include the naturally-aspirated V12 and V10 and the twin-turbo V8, Lamborghini has launched three 24-track playlists on Spotify. Yes, you heard me right. The Engine Songs is a curated collection by music producer Alex Trecarichi created in collaboration with Lamborghini’s sound engineers, delivering psychoacoustics and sensory immersion in the most complete and all-encompassing driving experience. Basically, in layman terms, good music in your ears. These playlists, one for each engine variant, include covers created by graphic designer Vasjen Katro. These songs juxtapose the sound of the emotive and unleashed engine with songs tuned scientifically to its roar and vibrations.

A dual assault is scheduled for 2024, as the Italian motorsports gangs of Lamborghini Squadra Corse and Iron Lynx combine forces, setting the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) and IMSA Sportscar Championship squarely in their sights. This joint team will be called Lamborghini Iron Lynx, and will be the official Lamborghini team in the aforementioned championships. Also working in close collaboration is PREMA Engineering, under the PREMA Group umbrella which also owns PREMA Power Team. The team is well known for racing championships such as Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula Regional European Championship and the like.

If you're not familiar with the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, or simply Pikes Peak as it's known to petrolheads worldwide, it is one of the most challenging motorsports events in the world. Consisting of 12.42 miles (20km) and 156 turns of serpentine mountain roads with an average gradient of 7%, and with a finish line that's 14,115 feet (4,302 metres) above sea level (remember, aircraft cabins are pressurised to only 8,000 feet), this 'hill' climb's challenges of corner complexities, weather conditions, and altitude changes push both driver and machine to extremes no other racing event can match. Developing ALA strategies for the Aventador SVJ through both static and dynamic virtual simulations, a virtual attempt at the Nürburgring Nordschleife already returned a better lap time than the Lamborghini Huracán Performante.
