Just like every mid-engined V8 Ferrari before it, the 488 Spider's arrival comes just a few months after the coupe's, and apart from the folding roof, is mechanically identical. This means the 3.9-litre turbocharged V8 contains 661 rampaging Italian ponies, about 100 more than the old naturally aspirated 4.5-litre engine. So despite the Spider weighing about 50kg more than the GTB at 1525kg, Ferrari claims the 0-100km/h time is unchanged at 3 seconds flat.

The car we have here today is the highest specced HR-V LX Premium. The car looks great from afar. Unlike the first HR-V though, the new one doesn’t come in a 3-door variant. The inaugural programme started with a camp held from 22 to 25 June 2015, participated by 320 lower secondary school students from 13 secondary schools in the Central Singapore District. They embarked on a learning journey to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) and were introduced to the mechanics and physics behind the construction of a theme park ride. Through guided tours and briefings conducted by trained facilitators at USS, the students picked up new knowledge on STEM principles. They were then given a chance to put what they learnt to the test.
