Now, in 2025, the department is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its tenth anniversary with a lineup of global events for collectors, customers, and fans.  

Kicking off on 21 February in the winter wonderland of St. Moritz, the celebrations begin at Balthazar Downtown, which will transform into an exclusive Lamborghini Polo Storico venue.

As an added spectacle, two rare, privately owned classic Lamborghinis will take to the icy tracks of The I.C.E. (International Concours of Elegance), bringing vintage raging bulls to the snow.  

Come April, the festivities shift to the historic streets of Rome, where the first-ever Anantara Concours d’Elegance will play host to a dedicated Polo Storico showcase. From 24 to 27 April, enthusiasts will have the chance to admire some of Lamborghini’s finest heritage models in the heart of the Eternal City.

But no classic car celebration would be complete without a presence at the revered Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. From 16 to 18 August, Polo Storico will take centre stage at this world-famous gathering of automotive artistry, welcoming guests to Villa Lamborghini for a series of private events.

As the year winds down, Polo Storico will cap off its 2025 celebrations in Bologna at the Auto e Moto d’Epoca exhibition from 23 to 26 October.

Traditionally held in Padua, this prestigious gathering has grown to become a must-attend for collectors across Europe, making it the perfect venue for Lamborghini’s heritage arm to close its milestone year.  

While the anniversary events are the main attraction, Polo Storico remains committed to its mission throughout the year. From meeting customers in dealerships to supporting owners participating in concours d’elegance, its presence will be felt across key international automotive events.

Additionally, the team will continue its core work of certifying, restoring, and promoting Lamborghini’s historical lineage.

The Nissan Ariya has gone NISMO. Yes, the EV that’s been cruising through town with its Japanese-inspired design and calm, composed personality just got a dose of attitude.

Enter the Ariya NISMO—a sharper, sportier take on Nissan’s flagship electric SUV, designed to add thrills without losing its everyday practicality.

Let’s talk numbers. The Ariya NISMO takes the 87kWh e-4ORCE powertrain and cranks it up to 435PS (429HP). That’s nearly 130PS more than the standard version, pushing the NISMO from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds. And for those quick overtakes, the 50-70 km/h sprint takes just 2.4 seconds. It’s fast, sure, but NISMO didn’t stop at straight-line speed.

The e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system has been reworked for better agility, adjusting power to each wheel with remarkable precision—10,000 times per second, to be exact. A new 60:40 rear bias gives the car a sportier feel, and a 12% improvement in line-tracing performance promises sharper cornering. Add in reworked suspension, retuned steering, and revised braking, and Nissan seems serious about turning up the fun.

Visually, the Ariya NISMO wears its aerodynamic tweaks: new splitters, air curtains, and a rear ducktail spoiler, give it a more aggressive stance while reducing lift by 40%. Those 20-inch ENKEI wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport EV tyres also promise to improve grip and cooling while shaving off un-sprung weight. It’s a subtle but purposeful makeover that ensures you’ll notice it on the road.

Step inside, and the Ariya NISMO greets you with a cabin that’s equal parts sporty and luxurious. Suede-like seats with stitched NISMO logos offer extra support for spirited driving, while the signature red stitching and accents bring that familiar NISMO flair. There’s even a blackened wood texture to keep things sophisticated. It’s a proper upgrade without sacrificing the Ariya’s practicality.

While Nissan hasn’t reinvented the wheel with the Ariya NISMO, it’s clear they’ve leaned into the brand’s sporty heritage to give the Ariya a more engaging character. As Cliodhna Lyons from Nissan puts it: “We’ve mined our rich history of sports car know-how to bring accessible performance enhancements… the result is an Ariya that delivers thrills when the roads turn twisty but remains refined on the highway.”

Like the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, the Ariya NISMO is proof that electric SUVs don’t have to be boring.

Under the bonnet, the familiar 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine packs 665PS and 800Nm of torque. Aston Martin says this results in a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h. The numbers are impressive, but what sets this car apart is its Z-fold roof. It’s touted as the fastest fully automatic roof mechanism on the market, opening or closing in just 6.8 seconds at speeds of up to 50 km/h. A quick flick of the roof, and you’re ready to enjoy what Aston’s Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, calls a “visceral, sensory experience.”

Engineered alongside the Coupé, the Roadster reportedly makes no compromises in performance or handling. The lightweight structure, adaptive suspension, and a near-perfect weight distribution aim to keep it every bit as sharp as its hardtop sibling. Aston has also refined the rear dampers and recalibrated the suspension to account for the slight weight increase—a mere 60kg.

Visually, the Vantage Roadster retains the Coupé’s dramatic stance and sculpted lines, whether the roof is up or down. And for those looking to personalise, Aston Martin’s Q Division offers a wide array of customisation options, from bespoke paint colours to unique interior trims.

It’s also packed with tech, including the brand’s latest infotainment system, which combines touchscreen functionality with physical controls for key features. Even the audio setup has been tailored for the Roadster’s cabin, with options ranging from a standard 11-speaker system to an upgraded Bowers & Wilkins setup.

The Vantage Roadster continues Aston Martin’s legacy of convertibles that began 75 years ago with the DB2. Whether it can live up to the hype of being a no-compromise, top-down driving experience is something only time—and perhaps a test drive—will tell. For now, it’s safe to say Aston Martin is sticking to what it does best: blending heritage, performance, and style into a package that’s hard to ignore. Expect prices to be close to the 1 mil mark when it arrives here in Singapore.
