For the first time in Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup history, the 2018 GT3 champion will drive away with a unique Audi R8 Coupé V10 RWS. The rear-wheel powered masterpiece was presented by Michael-Julius Renz, Chairman of Audi Sport GmbH during Germany’s Nürburgring 24 Hours race, where drivers, teams and guests in the exclusive Audi race hospitality got a first look at the most valuable prize ever awarded in the Cup’s seven year history.

Produced exclusively by hand and powered by a mid-mounted V10 engine with 540 hp, the high-performance sports car shines in antique gold metallic; the new Audi exclusive colour makes its debut with the prize. Many Audi Sport Performance parts are included, such as the carbon Aerokit, sport wheels, brake linings, adjustable suspensions and a steering wheel in Alcantara black.

The ‘sporty-yet-luxurious’ theme carries through to the interior of fine nappa leather, and elegant decorative inlays. R8 heated buckets seats, state-of-the-art stainless-steel brake pedals and footrests, and personalised door sills create an exclusive cockpit.

Built-in intuitive management from the MMI Navigation system with MMI touch®, Audi smartphone interface for Apple CarPlay and Google Android Auto, and cruise control make this the ideal car for a champion’s day off.

“This bespoke Audi R8 Coupé V10 RWS is a one-of-a-kind model which can only be owned by winning the Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup’s GT3 category, it’s truly a prize that money can’t buy,” said Martin Kuehl, Director of Audi Sport customer racing Asia.
