Porsche has unveiled the Macan GTS, an all-electric, driver-focused flagship that treats the school run like an out-lap and your favourite B-road like a private test session.’

It’s the fifth derivative in the Macan Electric line, with up to 420 kW (571 PS) of overboost and a towering 955 Nm on tap, the Macan GTS sprints from 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and runs to a 250 km/h v-max.
The GTS offers up to 586 km (WLTP) and, at the right DC fast charger, its 100 kWh battery races from 10 to 80 per cent in just 21 minutes with a 270 kW peak.
Built like a Porsche, behaves like a Porsche

Tthe GTS carries Porsche’s most powerful rear-axle motor in the series, driven through a 900-amp silicon-carbide pulse inverter for ruthless efficiency and response. The transmission (geared 9.0:1) has been engineered to live happily with that tidal-wave torque.
Underneath, a sports air suspension with PASM sits 10 mm lower than siblings, with model-specific damper and anti-roll tuning. ePTM all-wheel smarts and standard PTV Plus (with an electronically controlled diff lock directly behind the rear motor) sharpen traction and agility.

The expanded Sport Chrono Package introduces a Taycan-inspired Track mode that pre-cools the battery to fend off heat-related power derating, so your tenth hard lap still feels like your first hot one.
Looks that whisper “GTS” (then shout it in your mirrors)

Visually, it’s pure GTS ritual: black accents, tinted Matrix LED lamps, and those muscular airblade edges. From early 2026, a new Sport Design Package becomes standard on GTS with model-specific front and rear aprons and black contrast elements.
It sits on 21-inch Macan Design wheels in Anthracite Grey as standard; 22-inch RS Spyder Design alloys are available if you prefer your stance with extra theatre.
Cabin: race kit meets lounge suit

Inside, the mood is tactile and focused. Extended Race-Tex meets smooth black leather across the GT Sports steering wheel, consoles and seats; spec the GTS Interior Package to echo your exterior hue through contrast stitching, belts and even a colour-matched ‘GTS’ steering-wheel badge. Carbon-fibre trim and a GTS-branded instrument cluster complete the ceremony.
And because theatre matters even in an EV, Porsche Electric Sport Sound serves two GTS-exclusive sound profiles; subtle in ‘Sport’, more assertive in ‘Sport Plus’.

As ever, the proof will be in the drive, but the brief is clear: take the everyday EV SUV and lace it with engagement. If the figures are any indication, Porsche has redrawn the brief yet again.
