Revolut and Audi Join Forces for Formula 1

For the 2026 FIA Formula One World Championship season, Revolut will be coming on board as the official title partner of the future Audi F1 Team.

“This is more than a brand fit,” says Jonathan Wheatley, the newly appointed Team Principal of the future Audi F1 Team. “It is a strategic alliance, engineered to challenge conventions in motorsport.”

Together, Audi and Revolut are aiming to not only build a faster car but a bolder F1 experience, where digital-first thinking reimagines how fans interact with the sport, both on and off the track.

In an age where everything from popcorn to Pit Lane passes can be purchased with a tap, Revolut will play a starring role in streamlining Audi F1’s financial operations.

We’re talking Revolut Business powering core back-end functions, integrating seamlessly with the team’s global supply chain, and enabling fuss-free checkouts at merchandise booths.

“Audi is entering Formula 1 with a clear ambition: to use the platform as a technologically relevant and economically sustainable investment in the future of the Audi brand,” says Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG and Chairman of the Board of Sauber Motorsport AG. “In Revolut, we have found a partner that shares our ambitions and attitude.”

Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky is equally bullish. “We’re accelerating towards 100 million customers,” he notes. “And we’ll be bringing them into Formula 1 with unforgettable experiences.”

For the sport, this could mean fans using Revolut wallets for exclusive content drops, behind-the-scenes access, or even buying limited-edition collectibles with a single swipe.

Behind the scenes, Audi’s factory team is already hard at work. With its hybrid power unit being developed in Neuburg, the race car engineered in Hinwil, and strategic support from Bicester in the UK, the Audi F1 Team is being built from the ground up with German discipline, Swiss precision, and British racing heritage.

And with the 2026 regulations mandating sustainable fuels and upping the electric quotient in F1 power units to nearly 50%, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
