Coupled with the sticky Goodyear tyres wrapped around attractive 19-inch ‘Elias’ anthracite alloy wheels, grip levels were commendable, inspiring confidence in every turn.
The steering weight felt well-judged—heavy enough to provide a reassuring sense of control at speed—but I would have preferred a touch more sharpness for an even greater feeling of agility. Nonetheless, the car’s balance and composure were undeniable, making it easy to settle into a rhythm, particularly on spirited drives.

Aggressive RS-specific bumpers and striking full Matrix LED headlights with distinctive LED daytime running lights accentuate its sporty stance, differentiating it from the standard Octavia lineup. Inside, the cabin retains much of what made the pre-facelifted model appealing. RS-exclusive sports seats upholstered in tactile Suedia material offer superb comfort and support, especially during spirited drives.
