Finished in Metallic Vermillion Red, the handsome and sexy (depending on which gender you belong to) BMW 6 Series Coupé 650i was revealed to a large crowd of media and friends at the Capella Singapore, Sentosa Island. Lighter than the convertible by 180kg and more rigid as a result of its coupé bodywork, the new 6 looks set surpass its convertible stablemate in driving dynamics.
Another one-up it has over the soft-top is the headlamp technology with high and low beams that are both entirely based on LED tech. Emitted in the day and at night through all four light rings (a distinctive BMW design), the light cast is very bright and similar in colour temperature to daylight.
The 640i is powered by a 3-litre turbo in-line six cylinder, while the 650i will house the 4.4 V8 with twin turbos, the same unit also found in the 650i Convertible. For more info on the 6-Series Coupé, CLICK HERE
